Mongols MC information Title

The Mongols Motorcycle Club, sometimes mentioned as the Mongol Nation or Mongol Brotherhood, is a "one-percenter" ruthless motorcycle gang. The club was created in 1969 in Montebello, California by a group of Vietnam War veterans with hyspanic origins who were denied acceptance into the Hells Angels motorcycle club due to their race. The chapters of this club span from several north american states to Canada, Germany, Italy and Mexico. After eliminating a small chapter of the Warlocks MC, the Mongols MC national president, Ruben "Doc" Cavazos saw the opportunity of expanding the Mongol Nation. Starting with 6th of June the Mongols set up the new chapter in San Andreas with the headquarters very close to Blueberry.

Although the Mongol Nation records 1,000-1,500 members, only 500-600 of them are full members, also known as patched members. Being a one percenter means becoming a member of an "outlaw" motorcycle gang and reject authority and act outside the law. Origin is the American Motorcycle Associations assertion from the 1960s that 99% of motorcyclists are law abiding citizens. The Hells Angels, Outlaws, Banditos, Pagans, Warlocks, Mongols etc. then adopted the idea that they were the 1%.

The club was intended to be a legal biker club that brings together people that share the passion of riding a motorcycle, commonly Harley Davidsons. This was about to change because the club grew in popularity and people with illegal intentions started to join. Despite that, the club grew steadily and it was feared for their violence. Law enforcers struggle to bring down the club and rarely they manage to "plant" undercover agents inside the club as patched members in order to get sufficient information to issue arrest warrants. Such an incident happened in 1998 when the ATF managed to introduce an agent inside the club. His name was William Queen and in his Mongol career he was known as Billy John. He managed to raise in the ranks up to the title of Treasurer and his investigations lead to the conviction of 54 members in 2000

The Mongol patch is formed of three kickers (parts). The lowest kicker represents the state in which the chapter operates and the middle kicker represents the Mongols logo, the riding mongol raider. Those two are offered to a certain person that intends to join the club. From that point the person is called a Prospect. They have to wear them on their leather vests or jackets and are supposed to defend them and the honour of being a Mongol with their lives. They represent his belonging to the Mongols and other clubs can respond to the presence of those kickers on someone's jacket depending on their standings with the Mongol Nation. They can either be attacked and killed by rival clubs or acknowledged as friends by the allies. The Mongol patch is complete when the upper kicker is added. The "internship" as Prospect ends and you become a full member, called patched member. The upper kicker consists of the patch with the club title. The period as Prospect lasts from half a year to sometimes two or three years. The Mongols don't accept anyone in their ranks and you have to show alot of respect and commitment towards the club.

The Mongols enjoy going fast whenever they want or where they want and don't seem to care about the police. When seeing a Mongol, people have different opinions: some don't agree with their lifestyle and others look at them like if they were idols. They can be your best buddies, but if you step on their toes they become your worst enemies. They don't mind beating people with extreme violence or even killing them if they think they were disrespected. Also arguing with a higher rank is more likely to cause the death of a member or at least a proper beating to put him back in the line.

The Mongols are known for confrontations with law enforcement in such areas as drug dealing (especially methamphetamine), money laundering, robbery, extortion, firearms violations, murder and assault, among other crimes. They don't like to be doublecrossed and the retaliation is usually ending up with the offender's death. Also they hate the Hells Angels MC and every time those two clubs are around you can expect at least a brawl.

So if you should go there and meet my old Bros.
Better watch what you say, don't step on no toes
You're in Mongol country and its real plain to see
We're Mongols Forever - Forever Mongols M.C.
